Description

Woven in lightweight plain, silk chiffon is incredibly delicate. The production of chiffon fabric is often a slow and laborious affair. While automated machines can be used to make this fabric, these machines also have to work at relatively slow pace to avoid causing any damage to finished textiles.

Inspiration

The pattern on this scarf is inspired by the silhouettes of the bird specimens which are photographed. To survive, bird mutation is inevitable, camouflaging itself with the surrounding environment.

Gabriela Domville is a mixed media artist with a fashion design background who is passionate about nature. Designing scarves for the very first time, she chooses to give voice to raise awareness towards the environment.
